We’re pleased to welcome Nurshat to the Relait team. He joins as a Business Analyst and Subject Matter Expert, charged with embedding Beneficial Ownership Analysis into the platform through Project Prism. Nurshat brings deep, hands-on experience across investor relations advisory and analytics and will be instrumental in making beneficial holder analysis something our clients can run at scale, directly from Relait.
Introduce yourself
I began my career at a startup in the investor relations space, and worked across both advisory and analytics. Over the past eight years, I’ve worked and partnered with more than 100 ASX-listed companies and funds, as well as several unlisted entities. I’m deeply committed to helping companies create real value around their corporate events, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their shareholding structure and are strategically prepared for what’s ahead.
What’s your role at Relait and what do you do?
I joined Relait as a Business Analyst and Subject Matter Expert to work on the integration of Beneficial Ownership Analysis (Project Prism). The goal is to embed this capability directly into the platform, creating something truly differentiated from its peers and positioning it as a meaningful value driver for our clients.
What draws you to Relait?
Relait is focused on streamlining investor relations and enhancing engagement for ASX-listed companies. The mission is to consolidate capabilities that companies would traditionally outsource to multiple third parties, a process that is often time-consuming, costly, and fragmented. By centralising these functions within a single platform, we enable more efficient workflows, deeper insights, and stronger foundations for strategic corporate planning.
Why startups?
I began my career in a startup environment, which shaped the way I think about impact and ownership. Working for a startup gives you the opportunity to truly go above and beyond for your customers, rather than operating within rigid boundaries. With minimal barriers between teams, my skills and expertise can be fully utilised and applied wherever they create the most value.
How did you end up here on the team?
I was introduced to Relait through a highly respected expert in the field. The referral came at exactly the right time, as Relait was entering its next stage of development in investor relations analytics, and the opportunity aligned perfectly with my experience and skill set.
What’s the most exciting thing about Relait?
Working closely with hands-on founders who are deeply involved in shaping the product and direction. The fast-paced environment allows us to test ideas and continuously push things forward.
What’s a software product that’d suck to lose?
Miro would be hard to lose. It’s where we first mapped out the Story Map for Project Prism, and it gave the team a clear, end-to-end visualisation of the product journey. It became the space where our ideas aligned.
What’s your favourite thing on the internet right now?
E-commerce and, of course, AI. There has never been a more interesting time to build. AI is fundamentally transforming how we create content, extract insights, and optimise performance.
A note on Project Prism and nominee reporting
Nurshat is a recognised subject matter expert on nominee reporting. Project Prism will bring Beneficial Ownership Analysis into Relait so that IR teams no longer need to stitch together multiple tools or external reports to understand who ultimately holds their stock. Nurshat will lead the work to translate nominee reporting best practice into robust, repeatable analytics inside the product; surfacing beneficial holder signals, highlighting nominee arrangements and creating outputs that are practical for corporate planning and engagement at scale.
