Introducing Luke: Relait’s new Head of Corporate Development

We’re pleased to welcome Luke to Relait as our new Head of Corporate Development.

Luke joins Relait with more than a decade of experience working directly with ASX-listed companies on investor engagement, market communication and corporate visibility. Based in Perth, he has built a strong reputation across the small-cap and resources ecosystem as someone who understands both the market cycle and the importance of positioning companies effectively with investors.

Much of Luke’s career has been spent at the centre of the ASX corporate services industry. After an early role with Aspermont Media, he helped establish the Perth office for Proactive Investors, working alongside the company’s leadership to build out the Australian presence. Over the following years he played a key role in expanding Proactive’s ASX client base from around 70 companies in 2018 to more than 210 paying clients by 2022, while also growing a local Perth team to support those relationships.

Since then Luke has continued working closely with listed companies across the Australian market, including time at The Market Bull before returning to Proactive in 2024 to continue his work in corporate development and business growth.

Alongside his professional career, Luke has spent more than two decades following and investing in listed companies, with a particular focus on the resources sector. His knowledge spans base metals, battery minerals and precious metals, and he has closely followed the evolution of commodity markets and the companies operating within them.

At Relait, Luke will focus on expanding relationships across the ASX market and helping companies understand how modern investor relations infrastructure can support stronger shareholder engagement.

What’s your role at Relait

As Head of Corporate Development, Luke will work closely with listed companies to help them modernise how they communicate with shareholders and manage investor engagement.

A big part of that role involves helping management teams understand how AI-powered tools can streamline investor relations workflows, improve the quality of shareholder communication and give executives better visibility into how their investor base is evolving.

Why Relait?

Luke has been closely following the rapid emergence of AI in business operations and sees the technology as the next major shift in how companies operate.

Over the past two decades we’ve seen waves of transformation through personal computing, mobile technology, automation and digital platforms. AI is now becoming the next foundational layer of business infrastructure.

For listed companies, that shift presents an opportunity to rethink how investor relations is managed. Relait is building the tools to make that possible.

Looking ahead

Luke’s deep industry relationships and long-standing involvement in the ASX small-cap ecosystem will play an important role as Relait continues to grow.

Over the coming months he will be working closely with companies across the market, helping them understand how AI-driven investor relations infrastructure can support stronger communication with shareholders and more efficient IR operations.

We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to the relationships and opportunities that will grow from his network in the years ahead.
